I have been animal crazy since the day I was born.I wanted a horse as soon as I knew how to say the word.I was told I couldn't get a horse till I was 12.In the mean time, I put all my time into my first dog "Little Ann".I purchased her all on my own, with nickels from, a" money in the hay stack" game.(I bought her for my 11th birthday-since I didn't get a pony) We were in the Hot Dog 4-h club & drill team.I learned how to train,show and care for dogs.....which got me here today. Throughout the years I have bred Cocker Spaniels,Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs,Chinese Crested & Great Danes.I have helped with Service Animals for Independent Living,Obedience training at a local facility and anyone who wants to know about animals.I currently breed,train and groom dogs (13 years now! man,I'm getting old) & am a member of National Association of Louisiana Catahoula's Continental Kennel Club,American Kennel Club. I finally got my 1st pony "Dolly" and I wasn't even 12 yet! Man was she ever a hard headed horse! Welsh/Quarter Horse.. Stubborn! I didn't give up. We joined 4-H & local horse clubs & I started my love for barrel racing & fast horses. Since then I've had numerous horses,I have learned from each one of them..but I learned the most from the first one..and that was not to give up! Now days I am still active in a few local horse clubs & the National Professional Rodeo Association. If my life wasn't busy enough with all the animals I needed 1 more-"Dave" my husband. We met in Aug 06 and we got married May 3rd 2008. We meet on the Internet @ cupid.com.The first question he had for me was " Are you scared of Cows?".......He had no idea about all my critters.I should have asked him "Are you scared of DOGS! ?" Now That we are Married everything is perfect.I finally moved to the BIG Dairy Farm. We are now in the process of building & remodeling to suit all my critters. We are now a family.Our first child was born February 21,2010. Sydney Lila |
